I’d like to bring to your attention that National Volunteer Week (NVW) is fast approaching. This is an annual celebration to acknowledge the generous contribution of our nation’s volunteers.

Taking place next week from 20 – 26 May 2019, thousands of events will be held across the country to recognise and say thank you to the six million Australian’s who volunteer their time.

The amount of support CMCA receives from volunteers is enormous, and the board, staff and members appreciate the efforts of all who donate their time to assist the Club. Within CMCA, we approximately have over 1200 volunteers who assist across various facets of the Club. Many of our members who volunteer internally also volunteer externally for various charities and community groups. An organisation such as ours relies on volunteers, and their support does not go unnoticed. We simply could not do it without their help.

To all members who volunteer in any capacity within the Australian community, a big thank you!
