The pleasant weather in north Queensland allowed us to finally reopen CMCA RV Park Ingham last week. Gates are open and our custodians are ready to welcome members. Some areas of the site are still quite wet, and we will be avoiding these areas. As many people start heading north, we expect to see an increase in visitation to some of our sites (Ingham, Chinchilla and Bundaberg), and we encourage members to utilise the online booking system in the member portal to book in advance. Down south, things are slowly starting to wind down in Railton. We’re expecting the park to close early June and remain closed for approximately three to four months. In other news, we have started construction at our CMCA RV Park in Penola, SA which is expected to take approximately two to three months to finish. This site will be a beauty, as it is located relatively close to town and the Coonawarra wine region. Stay tuned for some more exciting news in coming weeks on other new park developments. Shortly we will be looking for members who are willing to volunteer as custodians across all our sites.
