As this message goes live, the Perth Caravan & Camping Show is taking place at the Clermont showgrounds. This event, which will run all weekend, has unable to be held over the past few years. Attendance at this weekend’s show is expected to break all previous records. Our stand is well situated indoors and is manned by current Director Vince Calleja, former Director Garry Lee and his wife Cathy, and former Director and current WA State Representative Margaret Cook. We look forward to recruiting new members and assisting existing members with any membership enquiries. If you are attending the event, or are in the area, please stop by and say hello.

I would also like to use this week’s message to advise members of our retention process and the steps we take when members may have forgotten to renew. We utilise automated messaging, as well as a membership retention officer. Initially, members will receive two reminder emails in the week leading up to their renewal date. If your membership is not renewed on time, an automated SMS is sent one day after your renewal date. In the lead up and following your renewal date, our membership retention officer will give members a courtesy call – this has been implemented as we often receive feedback about late or delayed payments while travelling. Members will also receive reminder emails when a membership has not been renewed throughout the grace period. Our intent is not to harass members, we just understand how busy life can be and we want to ensure your membership remains valid – particularly for insurance purposes (if applicable). All correspondence from the Club will come from our cmca.au email domain and office phone number – 02 4978 8788. This process is part of our business practice and a service to the membership.
