I would like to take this opportunity to remind members to ensure their roadside assistance cover is current, particularly those members who purchased a roadside assistance product with Allianz Global Assistance prior to the end of our partnership on 1 July 2023.
Allianz Global Assistance
When our partnership with Allianz Global Assistance ended, they stopped offering our members the exclusive CMCA roadside assistance cover and subsequently members were not notified when their renewal was due. Unfortunately some members did not keep record of their roadside assistance cover period, and therefore were not aware that they were no longer covered.
Please contact Allianz Global Assistance on 1800 731 912 to confirm if your roadside assistance cover has expired. It is worth noting that 30 June 2023 was the final date that CMCA members could purchase cover with Allianz Global Assistance which means some members will continue to have cover for that 12-month period.
24/7 Roadservices Australia
There has also been some confusion regarding the uptake of roadside assistance from 24/7 Roadservices Australia, the club’s new partner as of 1 July 2023. Existing Allianz Global Assistance cover was not automatically rolled over to our new partner. Members were required to purchase new cover with 24/7 Roadservices Australia or an alternative provider. If you have current cover with another provider, 24/7 Roadservices Australia can sign you up at any time and ensures your cover starts on a specific date to align with your renewal.
