On Wednesday, I had the pleasure of presenting the McGrath Foundation with a cheque for $20,000. This donation was made up of $10,000 raised from the 34th National Rally in Elmore, Vic and an additional $10,000 from the CMCA Board of Directors – they previously agreed to match the funds donated by members. The McGrath Foundation is one of the two charitable organisations we support annually. Earlier in the year, we presented the Royal Flying Doctor Service (Qld) with a cheque for $10,000. Both organisations are very appreciative of our support.

Throughout the year, we are approached by various organisations seeking financial support and attendance at their events, which many of our members do. Our members also actively donate their time, money and skills to other organisations Australia-wide who seek assistance. At the 34th National Rally, members also supported Rural Aid, and in previous years they have supported Buy a Bale and BlazeAid.

We encourage members to continue supporting the various drought and bush fire appeals during this devastating time.
