I would like to extend another thank you to members for cooperating with authorities in relation to COVID-19 restrictions. I am sure you have read our weekly statements, and we will continue to forward you relevant updates that will affect members. The May edition of The Wanderer will be distributed in a few weeks’ time, and I would like to advise that information about the impending CMCA Board of Directors Election is highlighted on pages 16 and 17. This information will assist eligible members who may be considering standing for this year’s election. Gary Rebgetz will be retiring from the board after completing six years of service, while Kim Atkinson will have the opportunity to re-stand after completing her first tenure of three years - directors can stand for two consecutive terms of three years. Members who are interested in standing can obtain a director pack by emailing richardbarwick@cmca.net.au. The election process itself is run by returning officer Michelle Wilson who is independent to the Club and can be contacted at elections.cmca@gmail.com.
