On Wednesday 27 November, RV Clubs of Australia Limited (RVCAL) conducted its 5th Annual General Meeting. At this meeting, the RVCAL Board of Directors were elected/re-elected. CMCA’s Kim Atkinson was elected chairman of the board and Gary Rebgetz was re-elected as a director, with Eleanor Scully as the alternate. Rin Klasen represents the National Association of Caravan Clubs (NACC) as a director, with Adrian Skinner as the alternate. Sandra Sampson represents the Australian RV Touring Club (ATRVC) and was re-elected as a director on the board, with Wendy Abraham as the alternate. At this meeting, the board resolved to endorse the Australian Caravan Club (ACC) to join RVCAL – Craig Humphrey represented the ACC at the meeting. RVCAL has weight when liaising with government due to its large representation of RV consumers. The RVCAL Board of Directors meet twice a year; however, they remain in contact throughout the year to share knowledge and expertise when required.
