The West Coast Rally which is planned to take place from 24 – 28 March is still going ahead at this stage and we will continue to monitor the recent COVID-19 outbreak in WA closely. The event site in Boddington is currently in the red zone; however, it is envisaged that the Government may ease restrictions tonight or shortly. Other restrictions may be imposed; however, we will advise when and if we receive more information. Those WA chapters currently in the red zone and looking to stage events, should cancel or postpone them immediately while restrictions are enforced. Those outside the red zone area, should consult the WA Health website for advice, especially in relation to social distancing, sanitation and other requirements. If any chapter has any queries, they are to contact NHQ.
Change happens very quickly with this virus. We must always remain aware and cautious, particularly as areas in Victoria are currently under scrutiny. Please do not rely on media for information, please use the relevant state/territory Government’s website for accurate and up to date information.
