As we continue to prepare for the 35^th National Rally at Bingara in northern NSW from 16 to 23 October, we are quite excited about several activities and presentations that will take place across the duration of the event. As usual, KT Insurance will be undertaking valuations. However, they will also release exciting opportunities to members on how they are looking to engage with existing and new CMCA members, outlining that they have the best and most suitable cover in the market. I also encourage members to attend our rvSafe seminar, which will follow with a question-and-answer session. In the trade marquee, we will have a dedicated stand promoting rvSafe, inclusive of our latest educational videos. This education program has been developed to improve awareness and knowledge of RV road safety, which is badly needed in some areas.

Unfortunately, we suspect this rally will not be as big as previous events, which will be a big advantage to many as you won’t have to line up anywhere and have no trouble finding a seat. The entertainment has been confirmed, and one of the highlights will be the Rally Ball taking place on Friday night. The theme is “Living in the 70s”, which is fantastic considering the age demographic of many members attending. If anyone can remember the rally in 2008 at the same venue it was a beauty, and this event is sure to be the same.
