I would like to take this opportunity to congratulate the CMCA Solos Network on such a marvellous rally held in Blackall, western Queensland). It can be guaranteed that this group of members will always leave a positive foot print on the towns they visit and it’s been reported that the economic boost was over $100, 000 during the course of the event. Many members who attended the rally are now headed to Barcaldine, where the attempt to beat the world record for the longest line of RVs will take place this weekend. It has been reported that the required number needed to beat the record has been reached. Many involved pre-registered for the event and are in town already. I would like to take this opportunity on behalf of the Club to congratulate the Australian Motorhoming Lions Club (who consists of many of our members) on this fantastic achievement. I am sure the Barcaldine community are reaping the rewards of having over 800 RVs in their town for a few days.
Safe travelling
Richard
