Under Clause 22.5 of the Company’s Constitution, any member who would like to bring business before the Annual General Meeting is required to give notice of that business in writing. This notice is to be sent to myself as Company Secretary and to arrive no later than 12 noon Friday 28 July 2023. The AGM will be held at the 36^th National Rally in Dalby, Qld on Monday 9 October at 9am.

I would also like to take this opportunity to thank the many people who contribute towards the betterment of the Club and their fellow members. In the past, some of these hard-working members have been honoured with Honorary Life Membership as per Clause 9.1 (c) of the Company’s Constitution. Some of the 29 remaining members who have been awarded this honour are still volunteering and active in the events we stage each year. An Honorary Life Member can be either an Ordinary or Associate member who, in the opinion of the Board, has rendered outstanding service or assistance to the Company. Honorary Life Members shall be entitled to all the rights and privileges of Ordinary Members but shall not be required to pay annual subscriptions. In 2011, the Board of Directors decided that Honorary Life Members also will not be required to pay rally fees and other associated costs.

If you feel you know someone that would be a worthy recipient of such an honour, please contact NHQ and we can forward you the guidelines to assist in your application. The sitting Board of Directors are the only people who can award such an honour.
