Murgon is nestled at the foot of Boat Mountain, in the lush Burnett Valley. Shaped like an upturned boat, the Boat Mountain Conservation Park offers stunning panoramic views of the surrounding region.

Murgon offers short-term parking at Murgon Free Camp for up to 48 hours. At no cost, the camp offers RV travellers the perfect base with access to toilets, showers, bins and potable water all on site. A dump point is located nearby along Kreb Street.
