This week I had the pleasure of visiting and meeting up with Erica Whitworth N001 at her home in Tweed Heads. I can say that this remarkable lady is fit and well and loves to sit down and talk all things CMCA. Erica still can’t believe that the little Club they started is what it is today - Don would be so proud.

We reminisced about the past 37 years of the Club’s existence from where Erica and Don started to where it is today. She gave the Club many photos and archives that will be etched into many people’s memory banks including those from the first informal get together and rally. Some of the material Erica has passed onto the Club will be used in future promotional material and displayed at NHQ. The history is so important to the Club, especially in this time of change. I am in regular contact with Erica to update her on developments within the Club and certainly gain her opinion, where she feels comfortable to give it.

Erica tries to attend every major event and is planning to attend our National Rally in Dalby during October. She remarked how much she loves catching up with old friends and meeting new members and is excited about the event.

To Erica and of course her late husband Don, and to those that supported them to get this Club started, we are certainly indebted to you.
