What a week it has been. The country’s south has experienced soaring temperatures and heat, while the north has experienced record rainfall. Many of our members have been caught in these natural disasters, either experiencing wild fires or flooding, and there are still many other parts of our country still in the grips of terrible drought. Our thoughts and prayers go out to all those affected, especially our members who nearly lost their home in the horrific Tasmanian wild fires. At time of publication, it is still not over. We hope you all remain safe during this time.
Our Club isn’t only an organisation, it’s also a family, and our members are always happy to extend a helping hand. There are many organisations out there who too will reach out and assist those in need, and two of those organisations are Blaze Aid and Rural Aid. Many of our members donate their time to volunteer for these organisations who work hard to rebuild communities and assist people in times of crisis. All skills are of great value when assisting these communities, so if you do have the time to donate, we encourage you to do so.
Safe travelling
Richard
