With the end of another rally nearing, I wanted to take this moment to point out a few highlights of what I can describe as one of the best rallies we have staged.

• We honoured two long hardworking memberships with Honorary Life Membership
• 288 first timers attended this rally
• The entertainment has been sensational
• We saw strong numbers participate in scheduled activities especially dancing
• Dog sitting has been extremely popular, and included looking after some adults
• The work and dedication of the volunteers have made the event what it is
• The AGM was successful
• The Dalby community has welcomed us warmly and with open arms
• Council and their staff have been brilliant to work with, adhering to any request we have had
• The Dalby Show Society have been outstanding with their assistance.

The efforts from Council and the Dalby Show Society make it hard to not want to return, and maybe one day in the not-so-distant future we will.

All in all, the rally has been a beauty. Congratulations to Rally Manager Judy Forster, her husband Ray, Secretary Eleanor Scully, all coordinators and volunteers and our members. Without you, such an event simply would not happen.

We finished with over 640 RVs, along with several members staying off-site. Along with the traders and others on-site, we have had over 1,200 people on-site across the week.

Now, all eyes are set on the 37th National Rally to be held at Mount Gambier, SA from 22 - 29 September 2024.
