As voting remains open for this year’s Board of Directors Election, I would like to remind members that candidate questions and responses are available on the website. Voting for the election will close at 12 noon on Friday 10 September 2021, and all eligible members should have received the appropriate voting methods by now. Further information can be obtained from Returning Officer Michelle Wilson via email at elections.cmca@gmail.com. After voting closes, and the ballot papers are counted, the result will be announced by the Returning Officer.

I would also like to advise members who are thinking about attending the Club’s 21^st Annual General Meeting that pre-registration is now available online at https://members.cmca.net.au/Event/EventRegistration. Members can also call NHQ during business hours to register over the phone. The meeting is scheduled to take place on Wednesday 6 October 2021 at the Bundaberg Recreational Precinct in Bundaberg, Qld. Members are welcome to attend the AGM only (at no cost) or stay on-site at the precinct for $15 unpowered and $20 powered per night – sites can be booked during the pre-registration process. We do require 200 eligible members to be physically present for the meeting as per the Club’s Constitution. If you are unable to attend, please take the time to submit a Direct or Proxy Vote - these can be emailed directly to myself as Company Secretary. Voting forms will be available in September’s The Wanderer and in the Notice of Meeting and Agenda (both emailed copy and hard copy), as well as available for download from the CMCA website.
