I am pleased to advise that during the week, we celebrated the official opening of CMCA RV Park Gunnedah. The opening was officiated by Chairman Kim Templeton and Mayor of Gunnedah Shire Council Cr Jamie Chaffey, and many members were in attendance. This park will prove very popular as the town is very tourism focussed and in particular RV Friendly. I would like to thank Gunnedah Shire Council, as well as local CMCA member and former Mayor Owen Hasler who coordinated several community groups to add to the development. From a staff perspective, I would like to acknowledge our Business Development Officer Sean Constable for his efforts.

In more news, we have a new park opening soon in Batchelor, NT. Located at Sundance Farm, this park will complement our other park in the Northern Territory at Humpty Doo. Please note, we are currently seeking a custodian to oversee the operation of this park. If you would like to assist and have experience as a custodian or would like to undergo the required training, please call our staff on 02 4978 8788. Our CMCA RV Park Network has grown significantly in recent times. It can be a slow process developing a new park. It can take more than two years from first enquiry to have a park developed and open to members.

We continue to explore further opportunities to increase our CMCA RV Park Network. We currently have 12 parks across most states and territories, with exciting news from the West coming soon…
