I would like to advise the recent changes to State Representatives for South Australia and Queensland. The board has endorsed the appointment of Frank Hardbottle (SA) and Paul Scully (Qld) for these states, while Western Australia is currently being managed by WA directors Margaret Cook and Vince Calleja. Frank and Paul join Peter Burr (Tas) and Rex Breen, (Vic) while NSW is managed by NHQ. Individuals in these positions assist CMCA with their industry representation at a State, Local and Federal Government level. Over the past two years, CMCA has been recognised as a key consumer spokesperson and are now considered a first contact when key issues are raised. State Representatives, along with the board and NHQ, will continue to play a role with all tiers of government, with a particular focus on the promotion of ‘Freedom of Choice’ for members.
