A small farming village, Ungarie is located just 42 kilometres from West Wyalong in the Bland Shire. The Humbug Creek runs through the town and when full, provides a luscious surrounding. The showgrounds offer a negotiable stay limit for a small donation, and the dump point is also located at the grounds. Step back in time with a visit to the Ungarie Museum, which focuses on the historic Wollongough Station. The museum reflects the ingenuity and thrift of the local country people, and the volunteers love to share their community stories. Ungarie has a range of dining, pub and club facilities, along with a swimming pool for the warmer months. While in the Bland Shire area, a visit to this quaint farming town is a must.
