The organisers of the Tasmanian State Rally are looking forward to welcoming members to their annual event, commencing this Thursday 19 February, at the Campbell Town Showgrounds. This long-running rally is a wonderful opportunity for mainland visitors to connect with members who proudly call Tasmania home and to experience all that this beautiful state has to offer.
I look forward to addressing members on Thursday at 4pm, where I will provide an update on current activities and outline CMCA’s future direction. The Board and Management team have been working diligently to ensure the long-term sustainability of the Club. Several key strategic objectives have been identified to support meaningful growth in the coming years - growth that is essential to our continued success and prosperity as we approach our 40th anniversary celebrations in April.
If you are currently in Tasmania and would like to attend, it’s not too late to join the rally. Register online HERE.
We have also commenced our 2026 consumer show program, beginning in Newcastle a few weeks ago. Our next event will be in Adelaide later this month, followed by Sydney and Brisbane. Each year, we rotate our attendance to include Perth, Melbourne and key regional shows such as Ballarat, Bendigo, the Gold Coast and North Queensland.
This year, we are also excited to be attending the Mundi Mundi Festival, where CMCA will host a dedicated camping area. Festival tickets must be purchased directly through the Mundi Mundi Festival website. In the meantime, we’re gathering expressions of interest for campsites to assist with planning. Register your interest HERE to be among the first to know when registrations open.
Safe travelling
Richard
