Committed to fostering environmental sustainability, we are proud to announce the launch of our Greenfund project. This initiative mirrors the success of the New Zealand Motor Caravan Association Inc - NZMCA's funding program of the same name and aims to contribute to grassroots environmental and conservation projects.

We recognise the importance of fostering a sense of community and collective responsibility towards the environment. By establishing the Greenfund project, we seek to empower our members to engage in hands-on conservation work, nurturing a deeper connection to the natural world.

The Greenfund project seeks to protect and enhance Australia's natural environment, flora, and fauna by supporting projects coordinated by community groups, state and territories, local authorities and government departments.

Projects with a total value of up to $10,000 may receive support, with the CMCA Board or CEO responsible for making final decisions on funding approval. The Greenfund project aims to allocate a total of $60,000 annually towards projects.

To qualify for funding, projects must meet specific eligibility criteria, ensuring that the allocated funds are directed towards initiatives aligned with our club’s mission and values.

CMCA looks forward to developing a partnership with eligible groups and making a tangible impact on conservation efforts across the country that CMCA members and the general travelling public love to explore.
