Have you heard about rvSafe? This is our national safety campaign increasing RV road safety education and awareness to minimise RV related incidents on our roads. This project aims to improve behaviours on our roads, minimise issues relating to overweight or non-compliant vehicles and provide educational resources to the RV community. The campaign will focus on nine core areas including towing, vehicle weights and weight distribution, speed, overtaking safely, UHF radio communication, rest, roadside services, consumer behaviour and licensing. rvSafe aims to ensure accurate and credible information is freely accessible to all RV consumers. We will be communicating through the rvSafe website at www.rvsafe.com.au, social media, strategic advertising and promotional campaigns, expert providers in key areas and by attending significant consumer shows around Australia. This program is supported by the Federal Government, and a number of industry partners have joined forces to strengthen the key messages of the campaign.
